My first Arzberg celebrates 80 years of great design

The legendary design by Arzberg classic 'From 1382' is turning 80.

The porcelain manufacturer is now set to transform the classically popular design into a modern cult classic in the 'My First Arzberg' collection..

It is hoped the re-launch of the classic shape will bring it to the tables of new fist time users, singles and families.

The company say with the focus on basic good design and shape, the pieces can be brought up to date with contemporary decoration.

Interestingly, instead of being marked with the manufacturers name on the underside of the piece, 'My First Arzberg' is embossed, not printed and is featured on the top of the collection, not underneath.

The prominence of the brand of the item signifies how proud the company is of the new spin on the classic collection, which is hoped to be popular with customers for many years to come.
