Nambé goes gourmet with new collection

A new collection by Nambe is to be launched at the New York Tabletop Show later this month will see the company move into Kitchenware.

The 'Nambe Gourmet' collection is hoped to introduce pieces that will be used by customers all year round with everyday pieces.

The award-winning design company's serving bowls and vases have functioned as focal points for dining and living rooms for more than 60 years. With these nine new items, Nambé's museum-quality craftsmanship will add modern style to the kitchen as well.

Designers Steve Cozzolino, Neil Cohen, Wei Young and Lou Henry developed beverage dispensers, tea kettles, a canister set, a kitchen tool holder (with tools) and a towel holder - all with curving modern lines and the lustrous shine associated with Nambé.

The designs, which range $90-$150 retail, will be unveiled at the New York Fall Tabletop Show, running from 25th to 28 of the month.

In addition to the gourmet kitchen introductions, Nambé will unveil tabletop lighting, bamboo, bronze, iron and bridal-focused designs in several new collections.
